Activated Charcoal
Activated charcoal is one of those things I always keep on hand in our house. My whole family has sensitive stomachs, and sometimes certain foods just don’t sit right. Whenever someone starts feeling uncomfortable, bloated, nauseous, or just “off” after eating, this is one of the first things we reach for.
I’ve personally used it during stomach bugs, travel days, after heavy meals, or anytime someone feels like their stomach is unsettled — and it’s become such a staple for us over the years.
It’s also known as a natural binder, which is one of the reasons so many people like to keep it in their wellness cabinet for occasional digestive discomfort, exposure to foods or ingredients that don’t agree with them, or everyday stomach support.
Even my mom swears by it now 😂 She literally calls it “my charcoal” and says she never wants to be without it after a meal that doesn’t agree with her.
I love having simple wellness staples on hand that help our family feel more supported and comfortable naturally.
A permanent part of our wellness cabinet.
